my opponent joined a custom cards duel and expected only real cards to be used.... ummm... what? yet according to the replay hes using cutom cards himself (and ones he didnt even create at that... you guys should know me by now on my rule of using other peoples cards in duels against me) he blocked me after this too. and if you have an issue with ppl using custom support for a character deck, again, do not join a custom cards duel!

if you dont like custom cards or custom support for pre-existing archetypes, maybe dont join a custom cards duel? common sense!

also idk why this always happens but when my starting hand is good like with this scenario one of two things happens:
1: my opponent quits
2: my opponent plays some massively op FREE to summon beatstick

A generic continuous trap that gives free protection to all your other cards from targeting and destruction, and protects itself from targeting and destruction if you have a guardian monster seems like too much.

seems ppl forgot "Negation" is a thing! 7 tools, jinzo, royal decree. if u negate a cards summon or activation it gets no part of its effects

He was looking for ANIME effects and a character deck, which DOES require Customs.
And we know how scared you are of your own cards, you don't have to hide the fact that you know they're too good

It was tough balancing that archetype. I didn't want them to be too strong, but I didn't want them to be weak either. I was having a really hard time balancing an archetype that allowed you to basically destroy any monsters in your deck and trigger all sorts of effects. Stuff like that is why Fairy Tail Snow was banned since that allowed you to banish Thunder Dragons and trigger a bunch of effects.

It also didn't help that I wanted to put way more restrictions on those Spells but couldn't because of the darn 1000 character limit for custom effects, so I just blocked all normals, rituals, fusions, synchros, xyzs, pendulums, and links outside of the archetype's monsters, and also block all spells/traps outside of the archetype's spells as well as setting anything.

Maybe I'll just remove the negate all effects part from that Spell for now since that seemed to upset him the most.

I hope he doesn't end up blocking you.

I don't get what's so hard about quitting while you're behind, whatever you're doing right now isn't working so either try harder with finding someone who agrees with you, or give up and let people play how they want (or leave DB entirely)

I sure am curious to see how you defeat a monster that cannot be destroyed by battle... by attacking it, instead of using an effect. Also, calling your opponent "patatic" and trash seems quite harsh, even for a ragequit.
