I being thinking about this for a while and experience some players calling me trash because I don't use cards and decks that are in the meta games. Also, I ask myself " why are players do that?". I think that some of the players do that cause players like me use decks that aren't meta and they tell me that "you deck is trash" or " you are a trash players" cause I am not doing what other players are doing. I just feel like that these decks and cards don't fit well with the way I duel. I enjoyed using deck that other don't use and if people can't accepted that I like using my favorite deck, then they need to shut up and get a life.

Wrong, it goes both ways. I seen players who only play meta, treat others like trash for not playing meta.

I also seen players who are casuals who bully other players calling them "Meta Sheep".

Both sides are toxic af.

But sometimes, the people who used meta decks ragequit when I use anti-Dragoon decks or Metaphys decks.

What happens when leaving something unmoderated.

I used casual decks but had no problem with them using meta unless I was literally not able to play the game at all. Aka calamities or opening with 7 negates before dark ruler or nibiru existed. A back and forth of a few negates and floodgates is nice healthy fun but when I’m shut down from playing any cards before I even get to my standby phase is not what I would consider fun and a toxic meta strategy such as zexal and double shock ruler

People use Unrated for a variety of reasons. Be it casual play, or testing a deck for rated, or just wanting to watch people suffer. The reason the Duel Note is so useful is that it lets you communicate what you want to get out of your dueling experience. Even broad terms like 'casual' or 'competitive' are good indicators. Be good communicators, my fellow duelists, regardless of your format.
