I have been on the forums for a bit as Strike Ninja, and now I am leaving it as __Blank__

I know none of you care, so I will leave this short.

I lied... Truth is there is nothing to keep me interested in visiting the Forum at all. Awhile back other sites offered such things as Mafia Games, Create a Card Discussions and Ratings, but now all that remains in the main core of duelists who just want to duel, leaving wars obsolete and leaving only Tournaments as an Option for activities to do on this site, whether it be hosting them, as I have in the past, or joining them. I also have that retarded luck where I end up being "1 in too late" so tournaments are pointless for me if I cannot enter even 1.

That means I got no interest in the forum anymore. I will remain on the main site, even though the response ratio from calls being made, and mali afk investigations for stalling being "shall we say" deplorable?

The problem is that DB staff really sucks. The forum got replaced by Discord servers like CYO. It fixes all problem DB had. Discussions, ratings, wars & all that are still a thing, you even get a notification when a tournament is happening, mebbeh give it a try : )

The issue is player's feel entitled to having things done by your staff, however we also get promise for "new features" "new things" and a Forum that sits to collect dust.

To Cherie, I tried entering however I found that one in particular I entered that Alisae hosted, I was lucky #9 for it, flipped over it being the one in 100 tournaments I CAN enter, and decided to quit it all because i got pissed and harassed alisae for "picking which person they wanted in their tournament", and then when it came to the CYO this is where it gets really interesting.

Cherie, why did you reply to my thread, if you wanted to get roasted, A+ effort there, so you say "DB Staff suck" yet enter your own tournaments because they are CYO and thus unofficial, yet I could swear TOs were suppose to put the members of the Forum and their interest in tournaments, ABOVE entering oneself into a Tournament. You were ironically one of the two players that hosted during times I could not enter, but your excuse was by far the worst. You even broke konami Policy to enter yourself into that tournament INSTEAD of ME! Fuck off kid and stop bitching about staff being bad, when you are literally NO BETTER!

Idk why you assume i meant every staff member is bad, it would be impossible for me to know that and i never judge someone i dont know and always give the benefit of the doubt (same can not be said about some of the staff however). im rather refering to a few fundamental problems on DB...

DB has been corrupt since day 1, it started with respawn in 3 and xteven, then magi and tombstone and lastly runzy and others, seeing how they all ended in high positions tells a lot about whats wrong with DB. Recently i was offered a position as TO by genex who told me her vision to bring things back to how they were on DN. she promised to discuss future plans and ideas which i really appreciated but that turned out to be a lie. during that time it became clear what the problem is.

In my time as official TO there was not a single day without a fellow staff member lying or manipulating something,the way of working lacks organization and logic, it became apparent that its always about maintaining status or moving up the ladder instead of helping the users. it even goes so far that a fellow TO sabotages a tournament because he sees the host as a threat to his own status. i noticed that staff are too afraid to call out the mistakes of higher ups and those that arent get seeded out real quick, that just creates a toxic work environment.

actual good and honest people will not stay or not get a chance in the first place, its too much about connections and bias instead of character and qualification. (funny how genex hired me because of recommendation of other staff "despite" my ban history, instead of making her own judgement and realizing that it was always unjustified. this only proves my point).

Any time a user reports a judge immediately the response is blind bias a la "Lmao you probably cheated and now you are salty" "the judge is a good guy he would never do that" when the problem could be simply resolved by looking into the facts & evidence. when seriously bad things a user did got mentioned they would just laugh it off which shows that there is not even an attempt to keep a healthy community, people are even discouraged to report because they know its pointless. as a result serious players leave and whats left is a community of toxic trolls.

Certain staff members talking shit and lie behind peoples back, xteven banning innocent users and allowing his friend to boost in rated then lie about it, instances of judges gamelossing users they dont like for no good reason, the tournament scene is dead, the war scene is dead, rated is dead, the forum is dead, the db server is full of toxic people harrassing users and the staff joins in.

I only care about creating a fair and enjoyable environment to play the game i love, because that has been missing for a long time. ive been trying to help for years but i finally realized i cant change the problem, thats why i created an alternative and a lot of people appreciate it. Again im not talking about ALL staff members but certainly the ones in control and the fundamental problems with the db hierarchy. i never said that there arent good staff members you just assumed that for no reason because you WANT me to be wrong, i never interacted with you Pfannkuchen and never saw you do anything wrong so i have no reason to judge you. i think everyone with a bit of common sense understands that. too many people always assume what fits their narrative instead of being HONEST.

We do have judges on CYO, ones that get scrutinized and held accountable if they were to ever treat a user wrong, i wont allow things to be done behind the back. however punishing other people on my server because you got offended by my statement is just closeminded. every conflict starts with lack of information, every conflict can be resolved with an honest discussion but if that gets denied then it cant be helped.

It was mostly all you to be honest. You were the main issue within the hosting team and got demoted so you acting like it was the rest of us is you lacking on reality and shows you twist reality to make it fit your point of view. A tournament was not sabotaged you were fired and another host had to take over as genex didn't notice you were still hosting. We saw your potential and took your history into account. You were on trial period in which you clearly didn't pass as you got fired. It's not biased giving people with potential a chance as well as if they stopped doing what they were doing in the past and their record recently has not been bad. This is false. I don't know where you got the idea that reports on Judges are not taken seriously, this is more of you talking out of your ass acting as if you know it all like always when you do not. A lot of people report and the issues are handled by the punishment table on the rules page. Sometimes people report things that require no action which doesn't mean we are not looking at the situation and evidence it means the evidence shows that its fine. Boosting is not allowed in rated and xteven doesn't allow people to do so (once again you keep lying yet talk about others lying this is actually ironic). War scene was never really alive in the first place and the tournament scene is not dead. Chris Pratt didn't even quit rated so that screen is bs. Chris Pratt plays rated still yet you take a screen not look into it and then think hey let me put it on the thread to prove me wrong. You haven't been trying to help all you do is try to take over things, yes you have your own tournament organisation thats fine but not everyone wants to join your tournament organisation as they don't have the same ideals as you, also the fact that your hosts can join the tournaments they host. Judging by my interactions with Bisou, she is doesn’t see people as people, she is manipulative, and she judges people and has prejudiced views against the more casual playerbase and that casual playerbase entering her tournaments.

2. She isn't trying to make something but take over without listening to others and arguing 24/7.
3. We have been doing things for 2 years you would know as your other account got banned.
4. People weren't that interested in wars lets be honest.
5. The tournament scene = hosts hosting should be able to rule in their own tournament which isn't too hard if they have knowledge of the rules.

Even if a user has a history depending on certain things and behaviors shown and actions displayed I’ll give a chance to somebody who I know could do good as A host. I actually had to fight to give you a chance at TO. I saw the great things you did and other judges pointed out the great tournament things you had going. 1. Judges have lives and aren't here to catter to your TO needs. they're here to come some sort of order for rated only anything beyond that is a courtesy to go into unrated games and settles disputes, it's suppose to be the TOs job to know basic konami tournament policy and rulings to deal with these sort of issues on their own.

2. any TO who enters their own event is a moron for many reasons of bias and the fact, if a dispute comes up while you're in a game you would have to quit. TOs DO NOT JOIN THEIR OWN EVENTS, that's common sense.

3. The Judges I do not think suck I think it's more of DB staff's structure is not all there which causes issues. Dueling Network was the same way when it first came out so you should at least keep this in mind before judging the staff. not everything is in their control if you want to be real here.

4. y'all need to take a step back and realize roasting each other doesn't get any of you further in whatever sick shit you have going on. you simply laugh about it for a second before realizing you now have the bullshit posse of he roasted so and so, so now a bunch of people are roasting me. wow what a shocker.

5. another fact no one seems to grasp is if people want more judges don't give them a reason to not want to log on and take calls let alone deal with the rabble o moderating a toxic as fuck environment.

The day you joined DB TO team your hate for me started, if you want to pick a side DB or CYO thats fine, i never saw it as a rivalry. i joined DB staff because i genuinely saw it as an opportunity to fix the problems directly and i made that very clear to genex from the beginning, Runzy is the one who sees CYO as a rival but it was never meant to be that. Its 2 communities with the same goal, at least on the surface, 1 is genuine the other one maybe not - but its a positive to the community regardless so i would never go against it.

DB has been corrupt since day 1, it started with respawn in 3 and xteven, then magi and tombstone and lastly runzy and others, seeing how they all ended in high positions tells a lot about whats wrong with DB. Recently i was offered a position as TO by genex who told me her vision to bring things back to how they were on DN. she promised to discuss future plans and ideas which i really appreciated but that turned out to be a lie. during that time it became clear what the problem is.
Genex did inquire with me, on trying to liven the scene, however the issue is Staff drop the line (We have lives) when they make optimal effort to communicate (Been there done that with Ozone Live Chat, and DN War Chat, amusing how history repeats itself. It would appear that not all remember what REALLY caused the Tournament scene to die "the last time"
In my time as official TO there was not a single day without a fellow staff member lying or manipulating something,the way of working lacks organization and logic, it became apparent that its always about maintaining status or moving up the ladder instead of helping the users. it even goes so far that a fellow TO sabotages a tournament because he sees the host as a threat to his own status. i noticed that staff are too afraid to call out the mistakes of higher ups and those that arent get seeded out real quick, that just creates a toxic work environment.
This I actually haven't seen much, however I do recall issues akin to this in the past with DN particularly. It's funny people keep saying this isn't DN because in all reality it is minus the CTD Citation and the Owner is a Different Person, so naturally different management results, however the same issues that caused DNF to slow down was the staff went away, got "busy with life" or "had kids" and the bottom line is the forum is going to die eventually, it's just a matter of when, and how long the staff want to keep this cycle going.I agree it's a shit management of users seeking color status to make excuses not to do their volunteer position, so they keep their status. REAL staff who do not have time would relinquish their power until they could resume, as most Notable Admins of DN did, VantageSP being a frequent one.

Tell me about it, I called out numerous people for things that get ruled as misunderstanding or misclicks, which end up being blatant attempts to cheat (and getting caught), I stopped caring to report such users, as nothing gets done, I get 2 reports back out of over 8-10 total that I sent on this forum, and all I requested a reply back (Geez I wonder why I didn't get one?)

You have other judges like Runzy/etc. constantly sucking up to Xteven and stuff for a chance at a higher rank even if it means being a terrible person to his friends, making him a worthless person to be acquainted with and the reason I blocked him 2-3 months ago (he only noticed recently, see what I mean?). Judges giving gamelosses and freezes for harrassment when they've literally said in the past that they don't ban for harrassment because there's a block button. The tournament scene is dead, ozone was the only good server CYHO sucks as well as cherie. The rest of what bisou/cherie said is pretty much bs, the discord server is chill and the rated games are still really really good.

i dont enter my own tournaments, i did that in the very beginning because nobody else signed up and people got impatient for the tournament to start, and there were no other hosts, now there is an active community and other hosts so that is no longer necessary.

No not really, I do remember making a rule preventing hosts from joining their own tournaments whether it is an official or unofficial tournament hosted on dbf. Not sure if our boy/girl genex removed the rule or not, in either case its “official stuff” so it’s on genex and runzy to handle. Maybe our official TOs don’t know their own rules? Also, prioritizing your own entry in a tournament when there are other users who wish to participate is the farthest thing from being professional. You were one of the top 3 users of ygoscope back when people were using it to cheat and have constantly ruined your own image in the community. If you have had a ban appeal denied, its not that judges are being bias against you, it's that you most likely deserved it. Despite your shitty history, genex took a chance on you despite multiple people that were against it. I personally said you wouldn't last 3 weeks so I guess I was right. You claim that all the TOs were constantly attacking you yet everyday you would always get yourself in unnecessary drama and continue pursuing arguments that were already solved for no reason. I was always the voice of reason in that server trying to hear out both sides of a story before placing the blame on anyone and even when issues were addressed, you would go ahead and repeat the same dumb mistakes which is why you were removed. Like Pfan already said, even if you have a problem with certain staff members, when you attack the entire staff you should be prepared to be called out on your BS.

As lost has mentioned, Ozone didn't allow TOs to join their own events. some did it in the past a long time ago which is why the rule ended up being made in the first place. Ozone definitely wasn't a perfect system but the tournament scene was really active during the time they controlled the tournament scene and we had several fun formats on top of the boring meta. Things unfortunately just slowed down when the better hosts got busier with life so people had to settle for 2nd rate quality such as CYO.

Storm Crow- one of the more sensible replies that have been made here. DB structure shares similar fundamental problems that DN had but unfortunately I don't think that is something that can be fixed so we just have to live with it. Back in DNF days, before it died, I even made an attempt to enter Goat Tournaments into my events, as it gained popularity mainly from all the users on DGz. However I refused to host on DGz mainly because Mango's introduction made it sound like Ozone was founded by a decluded King of Games who likes to troll when needing to be serious.

I can literally tell you all the toxic elements of the past as well, but I rather keep to the positive.

Attribute was good
Synchro was good
Maybe make a Format dedicated to allowing ONLY Links in the XtraDeck as a format?

Goat is OP keep it as a format at all times!

Past Format is dependant on who wants what format, and I never agreed with it, because the fanbase is too vastly split to cover all the interest and keep it from my perspective, and would lose players for those tournaments, or others will forget what was allowed or not have the desire to make a new deck.

I never imagined I would have to go back on what I said about attending ALL these posts, but I had a rather long bullshit day where I trust one person and I get ridden around and still wanting to see if I get compensated, so I am a rather busy person today (and a rather pissed off one, so do not expect filters on my replies)

I will attend to what I can, but I will say while I do not have trust in Lost, I will say they did a MUCH better job on contributing Tournaments AND Tournament Ideas. I hear rumors of Power Abuse, Filtering Participants and the like, but at the end of the day, to avoid the bullshit mentality, I only care about what impacts me.

Do a bunch of randoms impact me? No, that's why I do not care if you call me an autistic weeb piece of shit that needs to hang themselves, because I dealt with so much abuse and torment on DN that it's a wonder I didn't leave (and even requested bans to avoid my lust to go back to the site for the fun elements). But you know the whole *have more self control* preach is what they drop on someone who knows they have issues with coming BACK and need HELP to STOP it. DGz had the same issue, where I had to call MMF a Nigga (no the other one) to get my Ban from DGz, and after being toxic as fuck in their General Discord Channel, they finally granted that ban.

Overall I find the interaction among communities, and attempting to interact with people AS people to be the blame factor at the core of ALL the issues. When someone can learn to take responsibily for their actions, and admit they fucked up etc, then they can fucking rant all they want, but seriously CherieonTop, as I have shown, you decided to not only prevent me from entering, but entered YOURSELF in what COULD have been MY place IF YOU DID NOT ENTER, but you did. *That's why I also messaged you regarding the matter*

When it comes to Alisae, you are forgiven BTW. You provided enough proof that it was simultaneous, and yet I may hold reservation about which you *saw first* bottom line is I am not going to bust your balls/boobs over ONE single Tournament. I am not going to go that Toxic route with this, humans do make mistakes, and the best thing is learning from them.

I see you replied stating you "do not do it anymore" and while Kraj DOES have a point that the TO makes the rules, the founding Policy is Usually Followed, and as such I hope you see from my perspective how "bullshit" the situation was, and how I reacted the way I had.

I am going to add that while alternatives have been listed, I am not the addict I used to be, and I am not giving something that makes me a "toxic person" such as being "jilted out of entering a tournament" occur again. I have this history of overreacting, and I know the issue comes from things where I find joy in participating and feeling jilted just crushes me and then I go YOLO I DO NOT CARE IF YOU BAN ME DO IT COWARD mode.

I even got to the point where if I get pissed off "enough" I will refer to people by derogatory and bannable terms (Yes I have spelt out the N word a couple times on DB), guess what, most of them were AFK people who I wasn't going to wait 30 Minutes - 1 Hour for a Judge (Normally my average is 5-10, my longest has been 30+ mins) and guess what, I do not give a fuck about rating, so I am not going to sit on my ass bored out of my mind, because the site doesn't have enough traffic, due to lacking events and interests, which is why the Tournament and War Scenes are Dead.

Where are all the ruling resources to HELP people to advance their knowledge, so they CAN BECOME JUDGES SUCCESSFULLY? I do not see ANY Ruling Helpers what so ever, and I am not even Stoned out of my Mind thinking of all this shit... and the staff has HOW MANY WORKING FOR IT....

The main issue is the site needs a way to generate more traffic and more interest.

I hate Custom Cards, but props for the Idea. It at least Doubled if not Tripled your site traffic for online users on average. We need more ideas like that to keep the site going for a long time, and we need to be thinking about them WITH the users, not the staff and staff, the staff and USERS.

Some of you can be real asses sometimes, but you all try to do something, even if it is not your best.

When they said I abused and banned LPG, LOOOOOL yeah bro just had like 10 screens proving the raids and all. Oh and fun fact, it was Xteven who banned them from DB.

But yeah I agree that I’m not serious most of the times, why do I have to be when I get the job done anyways? I haven’t seen anyone complain about me not typing like a robot or anyone complain that any issue they had in ozone in all 800 tournaments we hosted went unresolved. We gave equal priority to everyone and make sure they all get their disputes resolved.

Been 6 months since ozone left tournament scene. All I see is downfall and 0% improvement. Maybe a certain someone needs to drop their ego aside and accept the truth? Because I haven’t seen people literally ask official TOs for original tournament ideas in my whole life a whole team of purple people and they cant still think of anything unique and fun? Lol

My Double Life Point Tournament seemed dumb to a decent chunk, sadly I was expecting the tournament pool to realize cards such as Ancient Leaf existed. One person actually realized it, and I gave them mad props, because I was expecting a format where you get to pay 2000 LP to draw 2 cards, because your life starts at 16000 is insane, and it's not that hard in a SS Format to "spam damage", and worse case with a fair pace, someone decks out. The only modifier i'd make to that original idea, I called Double Trouble, would be to disallow memes from the tournament.

So burn/exodia/autowin/etc

If that was really their true agenda, then why prioritize their entry over a new player's entry, pissing them off enough to cause them to enter CYO Discord, Call Cherie out on critizing some prior TO named ninja666 or something, and then leave it again, enter again only to see if it had a reply and then left again.

This is NOT the behaviour that encourages NEW players to enter the scene, rather it is quite the opposite, and encourages a team of TOs to inevitably be sole entrants to keep the codes flowing whether it be official or unofficial, which is the exact reason why TOs should not enter their own to begin with (or if they do imo they should surrender 1st match or only do so for a fun tournament) however the issue is the TO is the ULTIMATE Head Judge, the Admins do NOT have the Final Ruling UNLESS it is an Official Tournament, as to Follow Official Rulings, otherwise the Host can go against the TO Ruling BECAUSE they are the Host of the Tournament THE TO. However all Changes to any policies should also be noted as to avoid an issue. This also didn't occur.

We can go on a list of reasons why my points are 100% valid, but I do not want any aide from someone who hasn't made a change to my perpspective, and as a person no longer following tournaments, I admittingly will never see a change until I change my mind to enter tournaments and see if this issue recurs for me.

I however am not new, ask Genexwrecker, I have been here for probably just as long as you honestly. Were you on DN for 5+ years? Do you know the Head Admin VantageSP when he was a Senior and a Trade Moderator and the Farewell and Intro Manager? Did you know The Detonator when he hosted his Unique Shadow Realm Tournament which required special forum fields to accomplish (mainly why he had to run everything), how about when we had the Structure Deck Tournaments with special decks made by QuincyMccoy?

Now that I filtered out some of the spammers, I can finally get to the more serious posts.

I can easily tell you issues of past, and issues that are recurring because I was around during all of it as an addicted DN user, who dealt with abuse for years, yet returned to the forum consistantly.

The main issue is that a Host should NEVER enter their own Tournament. Ask Ozone, Lost in Illusions, Mango, Re-Qliate, and other Ozone Hosts, "Has Sasuke ever entered their own tournament".
Then ask "Has Sasuke been asked to cut to 7 or enter a fake entrant and start it"

You will find that if I do not get enough people, I Cancel my tournament, and while it does irritate a good chunk of people who wait to hear back, I take the feedback and try to reduce waiting time for it to start, and gauge if it is remaining active with sign-ups, or if the last is over 3-5 minutes old, and gauge a decision of what I will do from then on.

As for tournaments in regards to cheating at question, I always had to use DN as such I needed a TO / Admin frequently if issues arouse, and started using alternate accounts so I would be able to access all screens and see if any issues arose. Ironically issues arose WITHOUT being called on, and I had to DM both Participants "Freeze do not proceed" to fix the gamestate.

I have also had my issues with some, such as the people who only care about "when" they get their reward, because they cannot be arsed to wait for a reply back with their code, due to feeling ripped off on not getting it when expected.
People need to realize delays can occur but the code will be given out. Ozone has never failed to make sure that occurred, they WERE slow at times on doing it, however when I waited for awhile, all I had to do was bug the code handler(s) for one, then DM the other ones that I got it when received. Never had an issue with that either.

Yeah, codes sometimes take a delay to get to people, because we hosted average of 2 tournaments everyday back then, and we had a procedure to send out codes which was a bit lo..

It's the lack of trying to find solutions that people get irritated with, they made Custom Cards when they have a lack of Admins to increase site traffic, however I can say that will last as long as people want to make their own archtypes and test them
However the issue with the Admin Exam, and encouraging people to take it SO there is more admins is the REAL issue and what I feel needs to happen is that we need assigned people situated to Encouraging Users to act as a community and help others out.

Also it would help a LOT to remove Toxic Elements when Mali AFK is reported (Start checking the timestamps instead of using they both caused issues as a reason to not take action)... If both users commited an infraction, then punish the one more at fault / both if both equally at fault, as per the Policy. 2 Minutes refusing to continuing because they were called an idiot when harassment is not a call option is call abuse yet nothing is done (I got replays for this too, and negative reputations on the RSJ's when I usually get a Bad Experience, so not hard to find.

Btw @blank ik the op mentioned there being no reason to pay attention to the forums anymore because of reasons you said.

Tl;dr I doubt there’s anything you could really do to move more traffic onto the forums when Discord is a program that exists. Discord has kinda been the death of forums in general.

The main issue was DNF users (Sorry if any take offense from mafia days) were too stupid to know how to scum hunt properly, or the scum were too stupid at knowing how to deceive people, and some of the communicative factions didn't even track hint drops that could make someone out to be a PR. Trust me I know NOW how to play a fairly decent Bullshit Game, were I get to win as Serial Killer on ToS Claiming Executioner, and my best role in the game is Jailor/Investigator, because I know how to detect bullshit and then I question the bullshitters. 75%+ They are scum.

It can be a rather autopilot game at times, but with the right role setup it can be quite fun, if you got time to be active for it, so I enjoy it myself, and it was CheyaSaurus that started it for DNF as I recall.

Have you tried playing with the people on DGz? They have the best Mafia Experience, if their section is alive right now.
I wouldn't know anymore, as I got myself IP Banned at request, and when they refused I called a staff member a racial bomb just to "earn it".
There is also Pokemon Showdown, but I would only use the Official Tournaments and find their Schedule through that if you are interested in trying it out.

I played with DGz when was a noob and kinda just learning the ropes.
I played a lot on like MS (btw most of the older people and vets who hang around there all hate the game) and gained a strong modding reputation there but I stopped modding and playing because that’s just what’s healthy for me.
There were so many personal conflicts in games (and having depression added to that as well) and I only really remember a few games where I really had fun solving with people.
It’s just healthier for me not to play.
I tried to get into modding again but I can’t design anything anymore

I hear you there, the main issue I got still is controlling how I call people out in games, because I can get rather annoying, or tunnel vision easily over the simplest mistake a vanilla townie makes, and then I gun after them flip town, night, day I die because I got town dead.

Though one of my first games on DGz I got given a MAD HM for calling out MBA on "Town Reading" me, when I was scummy acting as fuck, and they were scum, so that was kind of fun getting a HM.

My issue is I just don’t have fun playing anymore.
It either just makes me worse or I get bored since everyone else is taking so dam long on deciding on who to flip.

1) i wasnt the TO for that tournament. its normal for TOs to join tournaments hosted by someone else - never refutted that
2) i joined last second because there was nobody else to fill the 8th spot to start the tournament. so i didnt take anyones spot away - you joined last second in a tournament that had yet to start, and all you got to do is reset it via the admin options, and go to the editer, then replace your handle with mine, and then it's fixed. They do it at Sanctioned events in the event of a 1 drop 1 in event, which you keep preaching is what occurred.
3) i never complain, i look for solutions, i just agreed with what you wrote on dbf and offered you a community you might enjoy like others do. - I do not find suit in a community run BY you, so no thank you I will stick with the "Toxic DB Community" and try to find ways to fix it from the inside, then running away like a child trying to poach a forum of it's members.
4) if you got offended by me calling the db staff bad then idk what to tell you, i didnt mean to insult anyone but you dont seem to understand the hierarchy on db and the consequences of it. - Your hidden agenda is to make a rivalry, your attitude portrays it in mass quantities that everyone in this thread barring your enablers have picked up on, and quite frankly it's sad you cannot admit to simply being a piece of shit. Iirc, when the card first came out, only the water elementals received lifesteal. Now every elemental gets it, fire fly, tar creeper, pyros. Why? A few elementals on board and they're regaining massive amounts every turn. Becomes one-sided.
More so, it doesn't say in the card that all elementals gain lifesteal. It just happens.
Can we make this a candidate for nerf?

3. The Judges I do not think suck I think it's more of DB staff's structure is not all there which causes issues. Dueling Network was the same way when it first came out so you should at least keep this in mind before judging the staff. not everything is in their control if you want to be real here.
The site could use some more communication between admins and users, mostly I find is that they need communication entangled with the community and not just the calls, so the community start to see them as people again, and not as people who are getting paid to do nothing as they have been.

It's the lack of trying to find solutions that people get irritated with, they made Custom Cards when they have a lack of Admins to increase site traffic, however I can say that will last as long as people want to make their own archtypes and test them
However the issue with the Admin Exam, and encouraging people to take it SO there is more admins is the REAL issue and what I feel needs to happen is that we need assigned people situated to Encouraging Users to act as a community and help others out.

Also it would help a LOT to remove Toxic Elements when Mali AFK is reported (Start checking the timestamps instead of using they both caused issues as a reason to not take action)... I do believe staff care for doing the right thing but when everything is so Disorganized cause of lack of structure how can one blame them for banning or freezing for the alleged "No reason" when people who are getting this treatment are the same type that would just shit talk and try calling staff out without proof to blow steam up their ass and it's super irrelevant and annoying. (Possible solution is like don't do stuff to get banned. IJS)

Not dick sucking staff here, I just know from experience as a staff member when I was a TO here and before when I was staff elsewhere that things aren't black and white especially with no structure or lack of concrete structure. you can only do what you think is right.

An Analogy that I hope is simple enough for the less intuitive

we all have seen many try to give DB and DBF life but like everyone keeps getting caught up on meaningless stuff like posse mindset of Ozone vs CYO vs DB staff and it's a clusterfuck. I've seen more effort put into roasting each other and making most of you look stupid than find a solution.

A painful true fact is that if you want change then be the change and grow up.

The issue is the community needs to see progress mainly.
The harder issue is continued progress which is hard to maintain.

Issues have been looked over and the community seems to know where it stands and what could use improvement and that is the end result why I stuck around. I have been a DN Loyal Member 5+ years, and trying to quit it due to "being called retarded" by someone else in their Live Chat, because staff didn't care, and when it comes to new and loyal users, most want a chill place without drama.

So the biggest thing is structure, and then providing it. The issue is staff take awhile to structure ideas for the scene at times *not at all time* and this can cause impatient issues.

The food reference is quite accurate, indeed people feel they need to be served as ordered, and as such most feel they deserve what they want. This mentality is extremely toxic to the community, and some users need to realize the people we work with are people.

The same problems I have are the same issues other users have, but they do not post about it, because they feel it’s a waste of time. i dont enter my own tournaments, i did that in the very beginning because nobody else signed up and people got impatient for the tournament to start, and there were no other hosts, now there is an active community and other hosts so that is no longer necessary.

I didn’t break policy this time, but I did before because I didn’t want to wait for people to sign up / didn’t want to cancel the event is no excuse to break policy. You fucked up.

It means simply that you broke a Tournament Policy, one of the worst ones to break, because of personal issues with patience.

If you knew who I am from DN, you knew odds were I would come back, look like a hippocrite, and continue to call BS on the Staff Effort for communication and caring about the site, rather than getting responses from Staff saying users are free to find alternative sites over things such as Judges not reading logs fully, not applying what the user believes is the right penalty, and most won't even issue Procedurecal Error Warnings at all. I found 1 Judge who does PE and I respect them a bit for that alone.
