Hi all, I got banned without any reason given by the site. I feel i've no recourse other than the appeal option which i've done and heard nothing.

I do make use of a VPN on the regular and have seen from other sources that this may have triggered an auto ban by mistake.
Just wondering if there is anything i can do other than post here and ask for help and submit the ban appeal?

i have the same issue - and do have the same usage of VPNs for work and private security on my devices - if this is the reason maybe a moderator can bring clarity?

I was also banned a few days ago, no reason was given, I wasn't even posting in the last couple of days. I don't even know what the Ban Appeal process is, how can they contact me if I'm banned, and there is no dm/mail feature on the forums?

I don't know when I got banned, but yesterday I tried to open my account and it turns out I got banned. I've appealed but not heard a reason yet.

Hi, I also logged in after a while of inactivty yesterday to find my account banned. No VPN-use for me though. But also no reason given and I never got into any trouble while playing as far as i can tell.

Ok, I also got the same thing. I havent done a duel in a few days. Seems to be a trend.

Me too, what I mostly do is submit customs and playtest cards. The last person I dueled was a chill guy too, so I don't think they reported me.

I've heard (from DistantCoder's stream) that the admins here have a tendency to let forum reports languish for a long while, then suddenly act on them with no notice to the reporter or the reported. So it's probably an old forum report that got you.

We‘re all still banned and as for me i appealed on the ban asking for reason and offering my Support now 3 weeks ago? No words from DB - can we do something?

As for me yes i‘m using different VPNs on my devices if i violated any Security policies with that from DB i‘m sorry and will for sure adjust my usage of VPNs on the devices i Play DB on

The rules for banning an account are as follows:
- Posting a link whose sole purpose is to obtain a user's IP address.
- Posting a user's IP address without their consent.
- Posting a user's name, location, or address without their consent.
- Linking to obscenity.
- Linking to illegal or disturbing content.
- Posting a crash link.
- Forging a screenshot for harassment that never occurred.
- Altering supporting evidence for an abuse report to misrepresent a situation.
- Hacking another user's account and deleting all their decks.
- Registering a username with slight misspellings of slurs to bypass the inappropriate username filter.
- Registering a username with a slur that is not a part of the website's inappropriate username filter.
- Registering a username that advocates or promotes hateful individuals, groups, or ideologies.
» Accounts that are not new may instead warrant a mandatory username change.
- Getting a friend to give you answers to the exam questions.
- Posting the exam questions on YouTube.

There's ZERO mention regarding IP or VPN, so yes, we were banned unfairly.

just woke up and tried to log in and the pop up says im banned
i dont even duel much often just deck building and watch rated
i dont even use vpn or something
really frustrating tbh i would like to know why

Got banned also out of the blue. Doesn't even display a log in option.

No use of VPN either
