Ability to declare a custom card's capabilities on creation

If I were to make a card that flips your decks, or exchanges cards with opponent, blocks you from checking GY on activation, or banishing a random extra deck monster, all of these are unfortunately not possible. If you could declare what cards wish to unlock ( like banishing 3 / 6 face down cards from ED ) it would make the game more playable for custom cards that wish to mimic existing cards.

This declaration should not be done in a duel, instead in the custom card creation menu.

I made a guide on how to do some of these things a while back using javascript. [url:2i1hlgyq]https://forum.duelingbook.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15050[/url:2i1hlgyq]

Rather an officially supported method, plus defense position link monsters & setting Extra Deck cards

Link monsters will never be allowed to be in defense position.

I believe you can put the link monster in the spell & trap zone, flip it face-down there, then move it back to the monster zone so it'll be in face-down defense position, but, what do you want defense position links for?

I feel like this results in a scenario where this allows the player to see what link monster. I will attempt something and edit this message.

How can you have a link in defense though? They don't have a defense value.

"If a defense position link monster that was flipped face down by this effect is flipped face up, it will always flip in face up attack position"

While I would love to be able to flip link monsters face down attack, DB does not support it ( yet )
