I am writing to respectfully ask for a review and, if possible, the removal of the Beginner Status that was recently assigned to my account.
I understand that during the duel there may have been some confusion on my part. My opponent was having trouble using the target function, so I tried to help by suggesting that they use the random function instead. However, I was not aware that the random discard function had been removed from Ranked Duels.
During the situation, my opponent also entered and left the site several times. Since I was unsure about what was happening and wanted to make sure that everything was being handled correctly, I called a Judge to help us resolve the situation.
My opponent had written something simple in English, essentially stating which card was going from the field to the Deck. I wanted to be completely sure about the target before proceeding, because I was afraid of making a mistake or misunderstanding the situation. English is not my first language, so sometimes I need to double-check that I have understood exactly what has been said.
I understand that my request for clarification may have appeared excessive or that I may have misunderstood the situation. If so, I sincerely apologize. However, my intention was never to delay the duel, create a problem, or act improperly. I was simply trying to make sure that I understood the situation correctly and that the duel was handled according to the rules.
I have played many matches on DuelingBook and, unfortunately, I have also encountered opponents who have been rude, offensive, or have attempted to take advantage of situations. For this reason, I tend to be particularly careful when something seems unclear, and I prefer to call a Judge rather than make a mistake.
I respectfully ask you to reconsider the Beginner Status in this case. I fully understand that I should improve my understanding of certain rulings and that I should be more confident when dealing with situations like this, but I do not believe that temporarily preventing me from playing Ranked Duels is appropriate for what happened.
I apologize again if my behavior was perceived differently, and I would be grateful if you could review the situation and consider removing the Beginner Status from my account.
