Gemini: Repeated effect usages

My question is regarding Gemini monsters that have some kind of usage limit, and how that works when they 'lose' their treatment as being an effect monster and regain it again.

Example:
You have Dark Valkyria, use supervise on it, use its effect to gain a counter. Use its effect to remove counter and pop a monster. Then use Giant trunade to bounce Supervise: Dark Valkyrie treated as normal monster again. Then replay Supervise. According to Edison ruling I could use the effect of Dark Valkyrie again to gain another counter and pop another card from it.

"● If "Dark Valkyria" is treated as an Effect Monster due to the effect of "Supervise" or "Superalloy Beast Raptinus" and has a Spell Counter when that "Superalloy Beast Raptinus" or "Supervise" is removed from the field, the Spell Counter is removed because "Dark Valkyria" is changed to a Normal Monster. If "Dark Valkyria" becomes an Effect Monster again afterwards, its effect can be used once more.
About the ② effect:"

But What about Card effects that state 'Once per turn:'? Can they also be reactivated? Same example but with Gigaplant.

If they are different, why are they?
