Does duelingbook follow the official TCG Tournament Policy for note taking regarding the use of counters?

"Written records are the only acceptable form of note-taking. You may not use generic items such as dice,
counters, or tokens as a form of note-taking, as these can be confused with other game elements"

If my opponent uses chat to keep track of effects necessary to maintain a legal Game State, then switches the tracking method to counters on the field mid turn, despite no effect containing the use of counters, would that be allowed on here or not?

And by extension, would my opponent putting an incorrect number of counters on the field create a damaged Game State that if both players detect the error later that turn, would prompt a judge to revert the game to the point of putting counters on the field, even when multiple cards had been played legally after the counters were added and there had no illegal play occurred until right before the error was found?
