The thread title is not a joke. I am dead serious.

I have been using Duelingbook for about a year and a half and initially enjoyed using it. It became a habit of mine to play my YuGiOh on this platform, usually Goat and some Edison. The problem with developing a habit is that it can be hard to break it, even when it becomes something you no longer enjoy. This website is infested with trolls. slowplayers, duelists who don't even follow the requirements of asking for responses, okaying plays, or using phase buttons.

Many duelists engage in soft cheating practices which are not egregious enough to warrant any real punishment, but which nonetheless sour my experience. For example, about a week or so ago, I played a guy who drew the top card of his deck and then put it back and shuffled it without asking me first, a total of 3 times in the same match. I have seen this exact behaviour from several different duelists lately, as well as many similar moves which grant marginal advantages, such as insisting on takebacks of misplays without asking your permission, rewinding entire phases to activate an optional effect which they "forgot" they could use, such as adding Sinister Serpent to hand in Main Phase 1 after making plays in that Main Phase 1 which rule out a set trap being Trap Dustshoot or some other relevant piece of interaction. It is never worth someones time to call a judge and wait up to an hour to deal with these sorts of cheaters, neither is it worth it to deal with the players who take nearly an hour to complete a match because it takes them several minutes to activate Thunder Dragon effect and activate Pot of Greed. Some people even sit in draw phase clicking the Think button for several minutes before passing, and upon watching the replay with their cards shown, you can see they have nothing to think about, and are simply wasting time.

Then there are the people who play without even knowing basic mechanics of the game, the sort which when a disagreement occurs during a duel, you cannot even find an official source for, because it is taken for granted that everybody knows it, like how replays work or reviving Extra Deck monsters that weren't properly summoned. As well as this, there is a growing number of people who load up decks featuring several cards whose effects they don't understand, so you have to coach them on how their own cards work, inevitably resulting in a lengthy judge call or someone quitting the duel from boredom.

Even on the increasingly slim chance you avoid all of these sorts of players, you still have trolls, people playing joke decks, and non-games caused by one-sided draws (my fault for playing GOAT on this point, I will concede). I seriously think the chance of getting an enjoyable match with an opponent that isn't some sort of idiot, troll, or generally weird individual is somewhere between 10-20%: Not nearly high enough to justify my continued habitual use of this platform.

I am asking, with complete sincerity, that someone in a position of authority bans my IP address indefinitely, so I have a reason not to come back and play here, because otherwise I will end up wasting even more of my time on a pastime which I no longer enjoy.
