Well it has been about a year or so, so I figured I'd leave an update on the uh, "progress"... I decided to throw in all the God cards. I realized it's going to be bricky either way. I came across multiple barriers in the design process. I wanted to play certain cards together and make the best of it without cutting a lot of bricks to 0... So this is where it's at, at the moment minus 1 extra deck monster.
I just like to tinker around and build things, so I am aware this is far from meta but at least now is casually acceptable imo. I mean it has it's moments. There are certain ratios or cards I just didn't like and it cramped the "style" i was going for or was too "net-deck" for my taste. Though I have ignored those factors if it made the deck a serious undeniable competitive threat, otherwise I can't help but throw in my own spice. It can OTK and stuff though, Especially if you think ahead well enough. For example, you may want to keep certain cards on your and/or opponents field so you can later remove them with the Horus nobody plays. So the true sun god doesn't stop you from attacking.
I have grown fond of the composition and feels very thematic in my mind, even though a lot of cards don't have to do with one another. Even if I do likely lose, Aleister got normal summoned and kaiju's came down, the Horus engine came through, and for the grand finale the Egyptian Gods appear. I mean, Idk... I just think that's cool. This is the only deck I will routinely consider altering, it has helped me become more acquainted with Yu-Gi-Oh! card pool.
