On my turn. My board was empty. Hand contained: Premature, 2x Last will, Exiled force, and Mass driver. Opponent had 2600 LP, a facedown monster, and a facedown Torrential. On Main 1: In this order, I activated Premature (Goblin attack force), Last will(1), and Last will(2). Then, I normal summoned Exiled force, tributed to destroy the opponent's monster, and used Last will(1) to summon Rescue Cat.
My two monsters, in this state, were able to attack directly for game. I wanted opponent to miss the timing for TT, anticipating Rescue Cat's effect. Even if TT was activated, Last will(2) could act as a contingency and still guarantee a win.
I asked if opponent wanted to negate, and said Rescue cat has priority. Opponent activated TT before Rescue Cat summoned two monsters. Therefore, TT resolved, then Rescue Cat resolved, then Last will(2) resolved, leaving me with 3 monsters.
The intention behind this play is to make the opponent purposefully uncertain about when to activate TT. What is the proper way, from my end, to handle this interaction so that it remains fair/sporting?
