I’m reaching out with deep concern and disappointment regarding a recent four-day ban placed on my account. I was not given a clear explanation for the ban, and to my knowledge, I have not violated any community guidelines or disrespected any members. I take pride in maintaining respectful interactions and upholding the integrity of the game.
What’s especially troubling is that I’ve been subjected to racial slurs—including being called a “monkey,” a deeply offensive and historically charged term—without any visible consequences for the individuals responsible. Despite reporting these incidents and submitting multiple appeals, I have yet to receive a response. This lack of accountability and transparency is disheartening.
Additionally, I’ve experienced situations where I reported clear instances of cheating, such as during a match where my opponent manipulated the outcome after I activated Delinquent Duo. Even with judge verification, no action was taken. These experiences, combined with the apparent favoritism and lack of enforcement, make it difficult to feel safe or valued in this community.
I love DuelingBook and the game of Yu-Gi-Oh!, but like many others, I’ve encountered a culture that can be exclusionary, cliquish, and at times, hostile. I believe there are others who share these concerns, and I would welcome the opportunity to speak with someone who genuinely cares about improving the community experience for all players.
I hope this message is received in the spirit of constructive feedback and a sincere desire for fairness. I simply want to enjoy the game in a respectful and inclusive environment.
