Hi everyone, just need to check this interaction.
Every Crystron Tuner has this effect or something similar:
"You can target 1 non-Tuner monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, but it has its effects negated (if any), and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Machine-Type Synchro Monster using only that monster and this card (this is a Quick Effect)"
My question:
I know that if cards like Book of Moon or Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit are chained it wont synchro summon. But it will still special summon from the GY? even if the tuner leave the field or is set face down? and if its yes or no: why?
Cause as the ruling says:
"Note that because this card assumes you are going to Synchro Summon, you cannot revive a monster whose Level combined with this card's does not match any Machine Synchro Monster in your Extra Deck."
My consideration: So if this card assumes youre going to synchro summon with that monster, but youre not longer able to do it cause the tuner were removed from the field or set face-doen, you still special summon a monster for the purpose of synchro summoning even if you're not able to do it anymore?
