Hi, I'm Lostouriste, as you can see aaaaaand... I have no idea hat am I doing here.

I played Tcg mostly for fun (and a little bit competitively) for 2 years, and since I have no friends to play with (which is sadder written than thought... I think) I've been told about DB so here I am ! The thing is I have no idea of how things work here and all I found in 10 minutes of search is this forum telling me to introduce myself, So :

Me = Lost.
Like = Apples, Mangoes,Cards, Making customs Cards, Duels, Rush duels for some reasons, and saying "Kwuiu" for even darker reasons.
Do Not Like = Scopes. That's mostly it.
Knowledge = I read my cards, and sometimes understand them. Is that enough ?

Well, that should do the trick, now it's time to resume my "the freak am I doing there ?" game, Without causing too much trouble. Until we meet, Kwuiu !
Kwuiu ! ^^

There is also YGOPro which has a custom card simulator.

Oh, there is one. But that being said, you would have to program the cards too. DB is a manual sim, so it's the easiest place to play with cards you make.

He's right tho, you have to script the cards in YGOpro and only work using Local network so you have to set up a VPN if you want people online to play with your customs as well as downloading the customs on your computer.

Its like DB to create custom cards on YGOPro/EDOPro.
They did the updates during 2019.

I see you fossilized too much for duelingbook lately (actually always). And to think I play my custom cards in irl.

I see EDOPro has a customs tab to search now. But again, they need to be programmed, else they won't play how they read.

Then you have to try, if you're saying it, it's not real proofs.

Why are you always hostile to me, when I'm doing one of the following:

1. Helping you
2. Letting you know that your broken English while insulting other people's intelligence isn't a good look and makes you look stupid.
3. Letting you know all you put out was a bunch of word vomit that doesn't answer anything.

Here are the facts:
YGOPro and its variants are automated simulators. This inherently means that cards must be programmed to do what they do in-game.
The simulator knows what a card is by referencing its .lua file.
You can make your own .lua file and program your own custom card.
Since these files are local, you would not be able to play against someone on a different computer unless they had the exact same file you made.

"I see you fossilized too much for duelingbook lately". What does that even mean?

Actually, I make customs in EDOpro and it's not easy, introducing the card in the database is the easy part, but you still have to script the cards which means you need programming knowledge or at least understand how the scripting language works. And even then you can't get to play them online with other people, they only work in local. You could play them with other people however by making a VPN and have them connect to your VPN so both are in the same network, then they have to download the customs cards and copy the files in their own EDOpro if they want to play with them.

That's way too much setup compared to Duelingbook where you just make the cards and you're ready to play them, all you need is the image of the card and knowing how to write effects in proper PSCT, then you can make them public for other people to play without having them download anything by just pressing a button.
