Coming Back to the game

It has been a long time since I played the game. I used to play the card game and I noticed a lot of differences with this online. Is it safe to say I can play unrated traditional games to get back used to it? Like I never knew about asking to go to next phases and things like that. Also it seems to not be draw a card but now look in your deck and pick a card? Just could use some help learning this. What is the difference from OCG and TCG rules?
