Ace Monster: Pocket Rex
The Main Races: Beast-Warrior, Zombie, Dinosaur, Winged-Beast, Thunder
The Main Attributes: EARTH, WIND, DARK, WATER
Extra Monsters: Fusion, Xyz, Link
Attack: 4/5
Defence: 3/5
Strategy: 4/5
Intellect: 5/5
Luck: 3/5
THE STORY:
On the opposite side of Pangaea, lies an archipelago of islands, with a tribe of Pygmies taking residence. They serve under their gods, and live in harmony until they're called for a very special role. Unfortunately for them, their role...IS TO GET KILLED IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS! ELECTROCUTE THEM! DROWN THEM! BURN THEM! SACRIFICE THEM BEFORE THEY SACRIFICE YOU!
STRATEGY:
Sacrifice your Pocket Pygmies to bring a godly victory! Tribute them in many different ways to control your opponent with various quick effects and Quick-Play Spell cards.
Most Pocket monsters have a Quick Effect that requires tributing a Pocket Pygmy to activate. There's many different ways you can keep the board full of Pocket Pygmies, such as Pocket Dinner searching all your Pocket Pygmies at once, Pocket Vampire reviving all your Pocket Pygmies, Pocket Stories reviving Pocket monsters that have been tributed or destroyed, and their Link monster, Pocket Oyster, who can bring out both a Pocket monster and a Pocket Pygmy, and can be tributed or destroyed instead of an unwilling Pocket monster!
Once your Pocket Pygmies are in play, you can tribute them for various effects, such as Pocket Laser Shark destroying your opponent's cards, Pocket Wind Dragon shuffling them into the deck, (He can also be Special Summoned if you manage to tribute 3 or more Pocket monsters this turn) Pocket Zeus and Pocket Abyss searching out cards, and Pocket Fossil Rex and Pocket Dodo providing card draw.
You can also sacrifice them for your Pocket Sacrifice cards, which tributes all your Pocket Pygmies at once, getting stronger for each one tributed this way! Pocket Sacrifice of Eruption damages your opponent, Pocket Sacrifice of Lightning destroys enemy cards, and Pocket Sacrifice of Summoning can search out Pocket cards and bring out a Pocket monster!
Some Pocket monsters also turn themselves into Idol Tokens when destroyed, which are Continous Spell cards with their Quick Effect attached to them. These include Pocket Abyss, Pocket Galley Master, Pocket Fossil Rex, Pocket Lunar Owl, Pocket Zeus, and Pocket Wind Dragon.
Don't forget to use your extra deck as well! Alongside Pocket Oyster, there's also Pocket Souls Of The Forgotten, a Rank 3 Xyz monster, can potentially steal enemy monsters with the detaching of a material and is guanteed to do so if you detach a Pocket Pygmy this way, and the three Fusion monsters: Pocket God of Fire damages your opponent whenever a Pocket monster is tributed and can bring out more Pocket Pygmies, Pocket God of Ice powers up relative to the number of Pocket Pygmies you tributed this duel, and Pocket God of Tornadoes blows enemy cards back to the hand whenever a Pocket monster is tributed.
But the real star of the show is Pocket Rex, a powerful monster who powers up all your Pocket monsters whenever one is tributed! He can be cheated out with Pocket Sacrifice of Summoning or Pocket Lunar Owl.
KILLER COMBOS:
Pocket Oyster sure brings an oyster of combos with its effect! For example, you can summon Pocket Lunar Owl and use his effect to tribute a Pocket Pygmy to bring out a high leveled Pocket monster in your hand, summon Pocket Zombie and destroy him to bring out Pocket Zeus, a Pocket monster with 0 DEF, or summon Pocket Abyss and use his effect to tribute a Pocket Pygmy, search out Polymerization, and fuse him with Pocket Oyster to form a Pocket Fusion monster: Fuse him with Pocket Zeus instead to bring Pocket Zeus out! Pocket Oyster can also treat himself as two tributes for Pocket Rex or Pocket Wind Dragon! Plus, as a Link 1 monster, you can always guarantee your combo can go through provided that your opening hand contains a level 4 or lower Pocket monster that you can use as material by Normal Summoning it.
