BRIJES
https://www.duelingbook.com/deck?id=11525157
Year of Origin: 2010, as Guardians Of The Lost Code
Is it real?: Yes, it's an obscure Spanish film!
Ace Monster: Púas, Terror Of The Dark Brijes
The Main Races: Wyrm
The Main Attributes: WATER, FIRE, EARTH, WIND, LIGHT, DARK
Extra Monsters: Synchro
Attack: 4/5
Defence: 4/5
Strategy: 4/5
Intellect: 4/5
Luck: 3/5
THE STORY:
Since time's beginning, people have lived in harmony with magical beings known as Brijes. When they reach 13 years old, they would be instructed in the art of Synchronicity, becoming one with their Brijes as the Warrior form. When people stopped believing in magic and their Brijes, and they turned to the art of darkness, the secret of Synchronicity was sealed away for milleniums....until now.
STRATEGY:
Use the art of excavation to your advantage! The Brijes Tuners Synchro Summon in a rather odd way, using the top card of your opponent's deck as the Non-Tuner, as long as it's a monster. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to shuffle your opponent's deck, which can disrupt enemy excavation tactics!
Once you get a Brijes Synchro monster out, your Brijes Tradition Spell cards become stronger, and they release a powerful effect, even more if you use a Tuner that corresponds to the Warrior form: For example, Brijes Mantis of the Lost Code's summoning effect is stronger if the Tuner was Brijes Mantis. Once per duel, they can revive themselves by banishing their base from the GY: For example, Brijes Mantis Of The Lost Code can revive itself by banishing a Brijes Mantis from the GY.
Their core Spell is their Field Spell, Brijes Ancestral Temple, which stores a card in the banished zone every time you summon a Brijes Synchro Monster, and adds them to your hand when Brijes Ancestral Temple is destroyed.
You'll hit the jackpot if you excavate a level 7 or higher monster with your Brijes, which you can then use to bring out Púas, Terror Of The Dark Brijes. Not only can he negate effects merely by checking if the top card of your opponent's deck is a monster, but he also grants your Brijes permanent lifesteal the first time he is summoned! He can also only be slain by battle, and his effects can't be negated.
KILLER COMBOS:
Quite possibly the best cards to use with Brijjes Ancestral Temple are the five pieces of Exodia! Your opponent won't even know you're secretly running an Exodia deck til the last moment.
You don't have to excavate a level 7 or higher monster to bring out Púas, Terror Of The Dark Brijes: He can also be Synchro Summoned normally by tuning a Brijes Tuner with a level 7 or higher monster. Brijes Mantis Of The Lost Code can easily serve as the level 7 or higher monster, as he can be brought out easily by excavating a level 4 with your Brijes Tuners, while Brijes Elephant can bring itself out from the hand/GY when a Brijes monster is Synchro Summoned, potentially getting Púas, Terror Of The Dark Brijes out in a single turn! Using Brijes Elephant's effect to reduce it's level to 2 can bring out Brijes Elephant Of The Lost Code instead, which protects your other Brijes cards and has high ATK!

Also, The Brijes Council's attribute should be changed to maybe WATER, since DIVINE is usually supposed to be for the Divine-Beast monsters.

Christen57's changes are now live on Dueling Book! There are three notable changes here: The Brijes Synchro monsters can be brought out with any tuner, and Brijes Ancestral Temple becomes a double edged sword, now banishing cards on any Brijes monster summon, not just Synchros, but only has a 1/2 chance in adding the banished cards when it is destroyed. The most notable change is to Púas, Terror Of The Dark Brijes: He basically needs to be Synchro Summoned normally now, the lifesteal only lasts while he is on the field or GY, and most importantly, he loses all his ATK on an unsuccessful attempt on a negation instead of just 500!
