“Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” - Martin Luther King Jr.

Or you could play any of the monster removal cards you don't like.

why use monster removal when u can use pierce damage? not only does the monster remain, but their LP are now open season!

Because you can just attack directly with monster removal. Because monster removal actually solves the problem. Because the only LP that matters is the last point, and since piercing damage doesn't actually get rid of the monster it's not actually doing anything

What's wrong with monster removal, again? Also, this "open season" on your opponent's LP is so unreliable that only now you've found the tiny grain of sand in this shore of duels that you've made so far that can "prove" your "point". And against a Anti-Cure deck where their strategy didn't go through and couldn't attack or destroy a Spear Dragon.

hence the reason i always include a mix of ATK & DEF monsters. Never know when ur gonna need one or the other (Or both)

Still too specific and unreliable, to the point that actually hinders most decks.

Here, I know exactly how to counter Marshmallon: run either Raigeki or Dark Hole or any monster removal. Done.

That reminds me: Wasn't there a duel either in the Custom Cards or this section, where you actually tried to enforce a rule that forbids the use of piercing damage against indestructable monsters? Looks to me like the pot is calling the kettle black again!

Nah, think it was another one, where he played some defense monster. But good to know there are more of the kind. Heck, at some point we have to do a topic to collect all those CM replays, where he screws people over.

In total, Kaiju, Raigeki, Dark Hole, Raigeki Break, etc.
