In that case, it's a mixture of different factors: parts, labor, manufacturing costs, distribution costs, market demand, general supply, etc. There's no unique reason why current gen game systems cost as much as they do.

Not much point in complaining about it. Figure the PS4 and the XBox One have been out for almost 4 years now, so those market prices likely won't drop until a new system launches, and Nintendo home systems tend to remain at the same price after launch

Actually, if we're talking about video game console sales, Sony's been winning since 2014.

But as far as the Switch goes, historically Nintendo doesn't usually release more optimized versions of home consoles, but given that the Switch is currently their only pushed gaming console, I'm not sure how much weight that observation holds.

Hey I know for a fact that 99.99% if not 100% play smash bros and the only way to play it is on a nintendo system

Last year alone, over 19 million PS4s were sold. Even with the best case assumption that every single one of them own a Wii U or 3Ds, that's 5 million out of 19 million at minimum that don't own Smash 4 on any console

the only reason people get ps4s or xboxs is because of there internet capabilities games are just second fiddle when it comes to them

I recently got a Switch due to odd circumstances. I've mostly been playing Breath of the Wild and Dark Souls.

I have been playing a bit of it (mostly because of where I work) and to be honest it's not that impressive. The single-player content leaves a lot to be desired and giving only 8 characters off the bat for multiplayer while simultaneously bragging about having the biggest cast yet is a slap to the face.

I sometimes think about picking up Fatal Bullet, but the screens always make me concerned that it'll be more Kirito wank and that my character's adventures are just going to be the character playing second fiddle to Kirito

Some streams of Gameplay could help alter that thought process, there is a Kirito Arc where you do play as Kirito temporarily during an arc, and the True Ending achievement is a boring asf grind for Friendship points if you prefer going for achievements.

I enjoyed it as much as I played, though I also enjoyed imaging everyone I hated was an opponent, and roleplaying killing them with the DPS Light Dual Wield Pistols.

Attack on Titan 2 though was a very intriguing slasher, though I feel I really enjoyed pretending my Dad was every Titan I killed in action.

The difference is Fortnite players in the USA will want to check their credit card history, due to a recent glitch. Read it in my local paper yesterday.

If you know any fortnite players in the USA I would advise looking for the Peterborough Examiner Article, alternatively you can look it up online for their online version.
