All that would do is drag out games unnecessarily since you're spending time making moves, then spending even more time translating each and every one of those moves for your opponent, and your opponent is also making their moves and taking up even more time translating their moves for you, and then there's the possibility that either one of you might translate something wrong, then in that case you have to spend even more time going back and correcting the translation...

It's much easier and better for everyone if all players communicate in the same language to begin with.

Equip Spells stay in the Spell and Trap Card zone, you don't overlay your monster over it, surely you can't be that stupid.

To be fair, overlaying monsters over equip cards does make it easier to keep track of which cards are equipped to which monster. I used to do this myself back when I was playing Noble Knights.
