The opponent (Dragoon player) had learning difficulties, so they paused the duel (of course) but the system ended up disconnecting me after 41 minutes of waiting, and afterwards the mentally challenged opponent had the nerve to send me this:

I saw it, haven't read it in-depth yet, eventually will.
Unfortunately I genuinely believe he couldn't comprehend that it is not an activated effect, & I don't think he can speak English well, so as much as I despise morons like that, he's not the type I'd report.

The guy didn't say anything but he quit for reasons... Maybe I guess that mixing Christen's T.Gs with Speedster's T.Gs and using that Field Spell of mine that gets rid of the Restrictions on Christen's T.G. monsters and make Tracer and D.va be used for any Synchro instead of just the Level 8 T.G. Rock Star should be enough...

Technically you could not summon Converging Wills Dragon as you did Arrive in light as Chain Link 2. Or if it was from Fleur you don't get the summon from deck

I didn't intend for him to be that easy to summon which is why I made him a link-4, but I guess I ended up making him easier with that other support so I need to add another restriction like the materials need different names.

For example, when your opponent activates "Monster Reborn", you can activate "Royal Oppression" and activate its effect in the same Chain Link.'
In other words, you can activate Personal Spoofing and it's "Once per turn: You can shuffle 1 "Altergeist" card from your hand or face-up from your field into the Main Deck; add 1 "Altergeist" monster from your Deck to your hand" effect in the same chain and shuffle your Altergeist card into the deck to pay for Personal Spoofing's cost since Personal Spoofing is a continuous trap. Then, when your opponent activates Dark Bribe in response, Personal Spoofing's activation is negated, but the Altergeist card you shuffled from your field into the deck remains in the deck since you already shuffled it to the deck for the cost, and the cost doesn't get refunded just because Personal Spoofing's activation was negated — you shouldn't have return the shuffled Altergeist card back to the field.
At least you still won though.

Look at the yugipedia article I linked. It specifically says "As long as they both meet their activation timings, a Continuous Trap Card and exactly one of its Trigger-like Effects or Quick-like Effects can be activated during the same Chain Link."
In other words, there are 2 ways you can activate a set Personal Spoofing. The first way is that you can activate the set card, but choose not to also activate it's search effect. In that case, when the opponent activates Dark Bribe in response, Personal Spoofing's card activation is negated, but you never chose to use it's search effect so you would never shuffle anything into the deck for cost.
However, the second way is that you can activate the the set Personal Spoofing and choose to also activate it's search effect in the same chain link, meaning if you activate your set Personal Spoofing as chain link 1 and decide that you want to also activate it's search effect immediately, that search effect will also be chain link 1 (meaning both the activation of the set Personal Spoofing and the activation of Personal Spoofing's search effect will be chain link 1), and since you're using the search effect, you're paying the cost by shuffling the Altergeist card into the deck, so if the opponent chains Dark Bribe in this scenario as chain link 2 since a set trap was activated, Personal Spoofing's activation will be negated, but since you still chose to also activate Personal Spoofing's search effect as chain link 1 by shuffling your Altergeist card into the deck, that cost is still paid, but Dark Bribe negates Personal Spoofing's card activation, and now you don't get the search off of that negated Personal Spoofing.
