How to Wreck Ishizu Tear's 101
Almost like you designed your cards to easily beat 2022 meta or something...
And here's proof that my FTK deck, even if it's disrupted by Lancea, can STILL put up a good fight.

2-1, Win-Loss-Win match against Contagion.
Game 1 was a slaughterhouse of horrors with the Soul Release + Dumbledore FTK combo.
Game 2 I almost had the game but I misplayed where I forgot to negate the opponent's effect during the battle phase with my counter trap in hand.
Game 3 I got disrupted by Lancea, but I still managed to put up a good field that completely shut down the opponent's plays.
And to think, I'm using the very archetype that brought Spright and Tearalaments down to their knees...

Is it just me, or has anyone else also dealt with ungrateful partners who, once I set up a winning board for the both of us, leaves the duel? Like come on, guys, at least be thankful that we're winning us the game...

Hey, at least if we know we're winning the tag duel, at least I expect my tag partners to be thankful. But no, instead of being thankful that I'm carrying the tag team for the two of us, they instead pull a Karen by complaining about how they "cAnNoT pLaY tHeIr PaThEtIc CaRdS~" and sabotage the game plan or just leave.
And sadly, I'm not alone in this. Even others who have had to deal with random tag partners who pull a bass player by bringing Barrier Statue or Mine decks into a tag duel completely ruined the flow for the partners.

They're there to play a tag duel, not to watch their partner play solitaire.

Finally a good tag duel.
I don't see any difference is just you making the same board and playing solitaire while nobody else got to do anything, again.

Welcome to Yugioh, where the objective is to make sure your opponent cannot play Yugioh.
A friend on DB once told me that. And that phrase still rings true to this day, consideing how Runick Mine, Ishizu Tearalaments and Spright all make sure your opponent cannot play Yugioh. I've learned to get used to it.

Truth is the meta decks aren't as oppressive as people like to think, when you actually play competitive you realize that these decks have glaring weaknesses that can be exploited and the format adapts to counter them and even as good as they are they still can lose. Also, you fail to realize that most of these broken decks weren't actually intended to be that way or they abuse other cards outside of their archetypes. Tear and Spright in a vacuum are okay archetypes, is when you mix them with other stuff that they become broken, so eventually Konami eventually addresses the problem and limits or ban certain cards. Your deck on the other hand is OP by design. For example, some monsters have random protection effects like unaffected by stuff that doesn't target, god forbid you lose to staples or boardwipe cards like raigeki, lightning storm, droplet or Dark Ruler no more. Spells that have a secondary effect when negated or that cannot be responded to by conventional means and your end field is 5 monsters with full backrow and still 5 cards in hand while the opponent starts with 1 less card.
Classic Aroma with his spell speed 4 cards with anti-kaiju clause:

Opponent brought out an OP deck and STILL lost to the worst of my Extravalites end board. MEGA LULZ

That’s crazy it’s not like your custom archetype is just tier 0 trash and that your Opponent is not playing for the thrill of the win.
