I recently got banned from DuelingBook because I had to go AFK to help my father and left the computer but left for a whilte so my opponent had to wait for like an hour for judge to give me game loss. Although this is classified as Malcicious AFK, can I get unbanned since it was clearly uniintential and I definitely wanted to come back to play but was held back by father? Also how long is the ban? It just says "You are banned" with no duration unlike DuelingNetwork.

If you haven't done so already, I would just go ahead and make a ban appeal via the link near the top and just explain your situation while asking any prevalent questions

If you're gonna have someone wait that long you may as well give them the win and quit. Saves them time, saves the judges time and you don't get punished for being AFK.
