If you're watching Jojo with English dubs, you're doing it wrong

Almost all the Stand names were changed when Jojo came out in the US out of fear of law suits. Granted those same changes still exist in the official US subs, but by watching it in Japanese you can at least make out the real Stand names via the Japanese pronunciationsAnimeMasterDub wrote:how is watching english dub doing it wrong

Not really. 4Kidz censored shows to make them kid friendly. Jojo names were changed to avoid dealing with lawsuits from American record companies

Pretty sure those were all for localization reasons, not to dodge lawsuits.

One is for the sake of protecting themselves from a bombardment of lawsuits and avoid paying asinine royalties while the other is for the sake of "Americanizing" a foreign show and to needlessly censor "violent" elements. It's a pretty big difference
Either way you should watch Jojo with Japanese dubs

Do you ever have trouble deciding what anime to watch?

Not really. I'll watch something currently streaming if it sounds interesting, and I'll either keep going until I'm caught up or drop it if after 4 episodes it seems bad. If I'm caught up I'll find an old show that I never finished and go through that.

Even if there are, I generally don't have enough free time that I encounter an issue with not having any shows to watch, so it's not really an issue for me. I also don't place as many limitations on what I watch as you seem to.
Speaking of the season, I'm a little behind on things, but I have been watching Gridman, UzaMaid, Index S3. What's everyone else been watching this season?

Gridman's pretty good and is definitely better than Franxx by miles. If you haven't checked it out yet I would highly recommend it
