I sometimes wonder what it would be like if space had a livable atmosphere.

I would think it'd be a lot like floating in the ocean, only with no real sense of orientation unless there were planets in sight. I'm sure someone with a greater sense of romanticism would love the idea of floating adrift. I'd be done in about 10 minutes

But who's to say that there is no form of life that exists far beyond the reach of our Solar System? I personally believe that there is some type of life that lives far from where we could ever scientifically reach.

I'm inclined to agree with this sentiment. If the universe can create the perfect conditions to create an environment that allows sentient beings to develop and thrive, it just seems unlikely that such an event can only occur once in the universe. We may never see similar beings, but it would be strange to me if they simply did not exist
