Re: Obligatory "Last Person to Comment Wins" Thread
If you're using internet explorer for anything other than downloading google chrome then you don't deserve to have a computer.

Assuming you're using Firefox at least, I'd recommend upgrading your internet speeds then. This is at least the second time your browser seemed to choke when trying to show a gif

Then I highly recommend downloading Chrome or Firefox because whatever you're using is likely sub-optimal

Both Firefox and Chrome can be used on a Mac. Firefox doesn't support OS X 10.6, 10.7 or 10.8 but if you have a different OS you're fine, and Chrome should work regardless

What on Earth did you do to your computer that would make Chrome or Firefox use too much memory? Even the crappy computer my father bought had 4 spare gigs of memory
He probably has a lot of homework

Seems like an awful lot of memory for school work. What kind of work is it?

Not especially, but depending on how frequently you access all those drives, you could potentially compress older files you don't access as often into zip files to open up memory on your drives and, by extension, your computer

No because you need to frequently access over 192 GB of files and therefore it's inconvenient to compress files and decompress them, no because compressing the files and decompressing them somehow ruined them in the past, or no you can't because of some other reason?
