Yes, because I was hoping to spark a fling of Shakespearean insults as a change of pace. The fact that I said it to Dal was a coincidence. I'd have said the same thing to anyone else who posted that.

If you look up the meaning of a three inch fool in the context of Shakespeare, you'll see that it's applicable to any male

I believe you were the one who assumed he knew what a 3 inch fool was and proceeded to tell me that it only made sense if I used it specifically to address Dal. I've made no assumptions on the popularity of Shakespeare in these forums, and even without an avid interest in Shakespeare, his insults are actually well cataloged.

fair enough but if there is such a hero on the forums its definitely me. Sanger is the wiseman. All that is missing is the sidekick who likes to punch and kick stuff and get all violent un-necessarily.

As a general rule of thumb, I am wary of anyone who refers to themselves as a hero, especially those that believe they fight for justice.
you are an actual weeb if you think you're a hero on a forum for children's card game simulator

I don't see either of you using a deck that focuses on a signature monster that was used in the anime with exactly 2500 ATK.

You mean like that side character in GX that stole Yugi's deck and tried mimicking him?

No he doesn't count because he literally stole the deck it wasn't his to begin with.

But when you use the same archetypes as MCs and then proceed to imply that you're a hero for using their decks, that's different?

Doesn't really relate to what I was saying. It's also not necessarily true. Robin Hood, a renowned hero in English folklore, is a hero because he was stealing.AnimeMasterDub wrote:heroes don't steal

Robin was more like returning the money that the wealthy took to those who actually worked hard for it. It isn't stealing if you are returning it to where it belongs

That's nothing more than semantics. He stole, plain and simple. The reason his actions are not condemned and are praised as heroism is because his targets are deemed by most of society to be "evil". The legend itself creates two extreme black and white sides, which makes it easy for society to approve of any actions performed to take down the "evil". Murder, destruction and thievery are all okay so long as it's being performed on the evil side.

then let me ask you this lets say for example (assuming you watch yugioh vrains) that playmaker who was considered a hero been made wanted criminal just because he had in his possession something that a important company wanted for unknown reasons and some-people who considered him a hero ratted him out about where his location was. Is he still treated as a hero?

Bad assumption, I find Vrains to be poorly paced and rather boring. Dropped it after about 20 episodes.
Your example is also incredibly vague. It's literally, "A guy steals a thing people want for unknown reasons and people who thought he was a hero ratted him out. Is he a hero?". It's completely devoid of meaningful context to the point where I don't even know where you're going with that example.
Moreover, your example implied that he's labeled a hero by society. My original point was wariness of those who give themselves the title of "hero", not those given such a title by society and history.
