Sounds like, just like every other little reason, it's a YOU problem. Is it that hard to learn new concepts after almost a decade? You already use cards that were released beyond 5D's, so it just looks like a commitment to NOT learn them, rather than just facing Pendulums as if they were any other card, in which, at this point in the game, they're essentially less than that..
