Arguably another victim of the perpetual "We have more characters than we know what to do with" engine rampant in FE games. It's hard to argue against a character with so little to work with from the get-go

On top of Corrin's argument, what we have here is a blatant case of mindless waifu pandering. Interesting, unique personality for one of the more prominent characters? Nah, slap a rack and have her tell the MC that he's her favoritest person ever. Why try to create something unique and memorable when you can just pander to the lowest common denominator. She isn't just poorly thought out, she's one of the best examples of a prominent trend that's slowly corroding the integrity of Japanese animation as an art form

I forgot to mention that Astolfo has one slight genetic flaw where there's a Y chromosome where there should be an X chromosome

Perhaps the literal queen of waifu pandering. She basically throws herself at the misogynistic MC without him having to do much other than exist and the body proportions are so out of whack it's obscene. Just about every comment I made about Camilla can be applied here and magnified 10 fold.

That was mostly aimed at Camilla because I hadn't seen Rias at the time but she still looks like a thot of a waifu for the appearance reasons

I never personally played Fates, but I'd imagine they're rather similar. Rias has that same sort of generic nice personality that you find in a lot of female characters in harem anime.

That's not a question I have a straightforward answer to. There are a lot of factors that can make or break a character beyond just their personality, including (but not limited to) their agency in the story, their struggles both internal and external, their strengths and flaws, and how they interact with the characters around them.
