Serious Question

Why is it so hard for ppl to read a duel note, but they can read a cards effect just fine?
Example:
- Destiny HERO Plasma: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 3 monsters. Negate the effects of face-up monsters while your opponent controls them. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; equip that target to this card (max. 1). This card gains ATK equal to half the original ATK of the monster equipped to it by this effect
Thats 5 sentences.
Duel note: 1st gen & GX only. No HEROs
Thats 2 sentences.
So how is it ppl can read Destiny HERO Plasma's effect but cant read the duel note? Plasmas effect is 5 sentences long and has a longer text. The duel note is short, simple and only 2 sentences. so explain to me how ppl can read plasma but not that duel note????
