Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg... and my arm... even my fingers. The body I've lost... the comrades I've lost... won't stop hurting... It's like they're all still there. You feel it, too, don't you? I'm gonna make them give back our past.

These are very ambiguous questions that could refer to general existence on the planet, or
existence on this website.

If you're here on Dueling Book, I would expect that you're part of the general online
Yu-gi-oh! community since you've already registered an account with Dueling Book.
Reasonable & Possible explanations for this would be you're brought here by friends,
You're curious about the development, You're interested in the game, you used to be interested
in the game, or you wanted to get involved with a community.

If you're referring to our existence here in the universe, that becomes a much more complicated
question that can't be answered with mere fact. At that point it becomes a matter of faith and
beliefs. Why we're here can be explained with science, but the mere happenstance of luck that brought
us all here today is something completely unbelievable in itself. Imagine a planet approximately 4.5 Billion Years old, but you just happen to exist during the time Yu-Gi-Oh! existed. But your purpose almost certainly has nothing to do with this game or this community. We're all destined to do great things if we put effort and faith into our goals. Your purpose here in my own opinion is to make positive change in the world, no matter how small.

It's up to you how you conceive that that's around you, and what you want to make out of it.

In theory yes. In reality I learned that the online world is no prettier than the real one; the only barricade is the sense of safety it gives, which is then shattered by the fact that safety makes people act even worse
