What does each monster-type specialize in, or what -should- each monster-type specialize in Your opinion?-

Here you can have intellectually stimulating conversations.

Like, Zombie-Type monster make sense to Me. They generally focus on GY manipulation, SS from the GY, and typically have low to non-existent stats for defense. But some types, like Reptile, Aqua, and more don't really have something unique that They specialize in (at least that I can figure out)

Well let's see, I know that most if not all Machine-Type decks revolve around searching and special summoning other Machine-Type monsters and setting up combos, one could say that a lot of decks can set up combos, but I noticed that machines tend to do so more effectively than other decks.

I find Yu Gi Oh easier to play if we do not read into it to much.

Well, while that is true for Machines, they are far more well known for their huge power they typically have, (Limiter Removal/Superheavy Samurai)

As for the OP, honestly Zombies should be the only deck that has graveyard manipulation and MAYBE spellcasters, but unfortunately, Konami made everything go well with the graveyard.

Jinzo monsters should be Psychic-type. Guardragons should be Wyrm-type. The Aesir should be DIVINE/Divine-Beast type. Change my mind.

I atleast appreciate how Reptile-types have a consistent theme amongst them. They specialise in reducing the opponent's ATK and stealing their monsters. (Aliens, Reptilianne, Gorgonic, etc. etc.)

This is probably the biggest waste of design space I've seen in a game. Types and attributes are largely arbitrary. Instead of establishing an identity early on for the different monster types and attributes in the game's history Legend of Blue Eyes and the first 2 starter decks just shat out a bunch of normal monsters. In an ideal world a dark warrior should be quite different from a light warrior but we just don't see that.

Dragon typically focus on power
Spellcasters focus on support from spells (and to a lesser extent, traps)
Warriors typically are easier to summon

They are, in the anime. However, the tcg god cards weren't printed then so they didn't bother putting divine/divine-beast type onto those cards.
(same for the wicked gods)
