’m pretty new to the game and am actually a nostalgia player (or was at first), and obviously found out dark magician and blue eyes decks aren’t competitive.
So why does Konami keep adding support for these decks if they’re nostalgia decks and people who would want these cards probably aren’t even actively dueling or competing?
Why does Konami keep adding support to dark magician and blue-eyes?

Nostalgia bait. Comp doesn't bring money, buying does.

Will try reviewing custom cards if they look interesting.

Both decks get worse as the mets evolves. To keep the decks playable, konami keeps adding support. This way the 2 OG decks dont die out because of power creep

Because their iconic? Most people when they hear "yugioh" they think dark magician and blue eyes, its the same reason Bubble bee got his own movie and series
