Duelingbook Private Server Project 2020
Friends

Hello everyone, my name is Angelo and I'm searching for a web developing team that are fans of yugioh as well. What's my goal? I'm trying to achieve a reverse engineering on duelingbook. In the following video, it's my work I've finished:

Send me a private message if you're interested to cooperate with me. Let's succeed on this huge project.

I'm pretty sure DB doesn't want you to reverse engineer their platform.

First off, get rid of the watermark on that video so it doesn't block my view. I recommend using bandicam, which is what I use. https://startcrack.com/bandicam-crack/

Second, why would I want to use this when I could just use regular old duelingbook?

If you're not exited as other people are by this idea, I can't convince you, sorry.

(P.S, if you use cracked programs you need to trust the person who cracked them. Good luck with that.)

That site I linked to is a trusted site. I've been downloading from there for months now and I've had zero issues.

I didn't tell you that it's a virus site. I just told you that, except the middle man that created the software, you have to trust the person that cracked it.

And I'll tell you a wise word about whatever free cracked content site you're getting into. If the product is free, you're the product.

This project is pretty interesting. Cannot wait to see until he manages to upload it to a server, attain his own database instead of storing data in localhost and also add improvements/different attributes to it that will make it different from this site.

What I'm really hoping for is for some kind of offline version of duelingbook where you can edit your deck, make custom cards, and do solo mode, all without an internet connection, and then if you want to interact with other players such as messaging, dueling, and so on, you need to connect to the internet and to the server.

That way, even if something like this happens again where duelingbook is down for a while, we can still do a few of these basic things. EDOpro already has something like this, where you can edit and test your decks by yourself and view replays by yourself, but if you want to duel and talk to other users you need to connect online and to the server.

That would also mean that you would have to download part of the DB server to be able to do that, as offline editing still connects to the server once connected back oneline. Additionally, you have to save that in some kind of folder etc, which makes it more of an app than a website.

if anyone having problems with downloading videos from YouTube, I will recommend him to use idm crack because it helps to download videos from youtube and any other social media website very easily.
you can download idm crack from the given link below.

Or... you could just use one of those free third-party youtube video downloaders like y2mate?

If someone is interested in teaming up with me to work it out, drop me a message, because I'm still interested.

Backend is the only part missing, and I've written a small part of it in Node JS.

Will it have offline capabilities?

From Discord:

The idea that you can host your own duelingbook replica has always sounded appealing to me, because it it considered the most widely used and developed piece of Yu-Gi-Oh software, as far as my experience with dueling simulators goes. However, there are numerous reasons that discourage me from continuing this, first and foremost the mountainous amount of time required to make this work in practice with no financial incentive, and neither with an indication that people are going to use it. Secondary reasons are the lack of rated duels (as that'd require to maintain a judging system, which I cannot fathom implementing).

I'm currently struggling with responsibilities in my life, and I barely find time to play the game. Let alone to write back-end JS that works in practice. Nonetheless, I'll give the source code of my work to anyone interested in trying it out locally or even continuing it.

I'd love to be able to access an unofficial / offline version of duelingbook even if it won't have a ranked / rated section like regular duelingbook. Sometimes regular duelingbook crashes, lags, shuts down randomly, or just becomes unavailable for an extended period of time for whatever reason such as maintenance, while I want to still be able to use at least part of duelingbook during such outages.

What I'd really love is for this duelingbook clone to feature some kind of local multiplayer where players can play each other even without internet access — a feature that already exists in EDOpro where players can duel each other simply by connecting their laptops / mobile devices to the same wireless network and then hosting / joining duels with the other(s) on the same network. I don't use discord, so if the only way to contact that "Friends" guy is through there, maybe you (Goatobed) can relay my comment here to him?
