Ah right, you don't give a shit about the new archetypes that have an interesting lore, you only care about anime archetypes. 8-)

anime archetypes are my thing if you have a problem with that just say so

It's not a my problem but you, anime archetypes are weak to difference of Albaz, Shaddoll, Dark World etc.

Dark World was in GX

Know what else wasn't in GX? Cyberdarkness Dragon and Cyberdark End Dragon.

But they're still a GX Archetype.

Did you know there are HERO cards that were never in the anime? Guess that means the various HERO factions aren't anime archtypes (although Vision HEROs are in the manga and Xtra HEROs are Link support).

Dark World is still an anime archetype even if not all the cards were shown in the anime also that self righteous attitude saying anime archetypes are weak just gives me a reason to prove that to be false (not to mention calling anime archetypes weak is disrespectful to Yu-gi-oh in general)

Anime archtypes that have been meta:
Gladiator Beasts (retroactively with Arc-V)
HEROs (Especially with DPE becoming a staple, speaking of which)
Predaplants, Dark Magician, and Red-Eyes (Verte and Dragoon, making DM see play)
Dark World (see Danger FTK)
Gouki (U-Link)
Salamangraeat (TOSS, or as I like to call it, the endless 4mat of 2019)
Thunder Dragon (It showed up in DM and became a meta archtype in TOSS format)
Perfomapals and Performages (PePe had to get banned)
Rokkets (Hello Dragon Link)
Armed Dragons (DAD was meta and Armed Dragon LV monsters were in GX)
T.G. (They had a "stun" deck)
Stardust (Dragon was the best Level 8 Synchro for a while)
Red (RDA was also played as a good generic Level 8 at the start of the Synchro era)
Infernity (Both with Synchros and Xyzs)
"Magician" Pendulums (Thanks Astrograph)
Code Talker (Oh hi Accesscode)

Is this list for proving my point? If so, how come odd-eyes isn't on the list?

Probably because odd-eyes is on the weaker side of anime decks. Not all decks can be winners.

Take their most threating board they can make and compare it with the other decks in the list from it's time forward.

Yosenju was never META.

Also Monarchs are an Anime Archetype since GX. We do see Mobius the Frost Monarch in GX Episode 4 :P

The deck was also META around when Frogs were released Frognarchs.

ok maybe you have a point but isn't also a reason that odd-eyes is due to getting more support cards sure there are some new ones in the ocg but odd-eyes needs more than that especially in the link monster department besides the archetype is overdue to getting its own link monster and I can give at least 3 examples of proof
