I was told to "Branch out more" but the issue is I don't know what playstyle I have, just the archetypes I like to play, and I don't know if I'd like either:

Generaiders
Any Variation of Archfiends
Evil Eye
Black Luster Soldier

If I play things like:

Dark Magician
Malefics
Cubics
Timelords
Darklords
Amazoness
Ancient Gears
Frightfur

Generaiders are a fragile Rank 9 "combo" deck that use Harr with their Xyz to gain hand advantage, use effect with the Field Spell generated tokens, and generally lose without their field. (You generally do stuff on your opponent's turn)
Evil Eye is a control deck focused on an equip spell that gives insane protection, but with monsters that drain your LP.
BLS just banishes stuff and (Chess) Archfiends are hot garbage.
I would say you like OTK decks so try Trains as well

What other versions of archfiends are there?

If youre saying you like
Generaiders
Any Variation of Archfiends
Evil Eye
Black Luster Soldier

Then you like "Protect the Castle" Decks. Decks focusing on Summoning and maintaining a Boss monster. Famous other Examples are decks like Buijins and Super Quants.

if youre saying you like
Dark Magician
Malefics
Cubics
Timelords
Darklords
Amazoness
Ancient Gears
Frightfur

Thats a bit Trickier, a majority of those decks are Combat focused baring Dark magician and Darklord which are more control-oriented Other examples would be something like Dragon Maids

The question is: Will I like any of those three if I'm more combat oriented?

True but knowing my luck people will throw a fit bc it's not meta.

Dunno, why does meta only have to be, what. 3 archetypes?

I mean, why should you care what others think? Play what you enjoy. I like playing casual games with archetypes that aren't "good" just because its different.

you have the windwitch and witch craft archetypes if you enjoy spellcasters. friend of mine playing thoose and they look real fun and best part is that the witch craft pairs really well with dark magician or dark magician girl decks and even spellbooks
