Aroma Garden vs Opponent's Aroma Monster
Aroma Garden vs Opponent's Aroma Monster
One thing makes me curious is if your opponent controls an Aroma monster and you control Aroma Garden, can they activate the effect of your Aroma Garden and gain its effects (or vice versa)?

Aroma Garden:
[A] Once per turn, if YOU control an "Aroma" monster: YOU can gain 500 LP, also all monsters YOU control gain 500 ATK and DEF until the end of your opponent's next turn (even if this card leaves the field).
[B] If a FACE-UP "Aroma" monster YOU control is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to THE GY: Gain 1000 LP.
Going with the text keywords: "If YOU" meaning the card controller, "control an [aroma] monster" A you don't, B you do "you can gain 500 lp" A your opponent doesnt control either so no, you do not control either so no B, you control one so you may, but your opponent may not
As for the last effect for gaining life, the card controller uses the effect anytime a "face-up [aroma] monster you control" meaning the side of the Aroma Garden Controller "is destroyed by battle or card effect, and sent to the GY". As long as you controlled it, even if it was your opponent's aroma, and you also control Aroma Garden, you get the LP gain. This means the person who had the Aroma Monster when it left the field, as it doesn't have to go to the controllers graveyard "noted by THE GY' instead of "YOUR GY"
To summarize this, a Player has to control Both a Aroma Monster and Aroma Garden to gain the effect of A or B.
I have included Aroma Garden's Text, and All Caps relevant keywords.
