Some of the pendulum endymions have this monster effect
If this card in the Monster Zone is destroyed: You can place this card in your Pendulum Zone, then place Spell Counters on this card equal to the number of Spell Counters that were on this card.


The field spell magical citadel of endymion has this effect
If a card with a Spell Counter(s) is destroyed, place its Spell Counters on this card.


Assuming my endymion pendulums with the above effect is destroyed (let's say it has 5 counters) will both citadel get the counters and the new pendulum I just placed?
Aka
Would Citadel get 5 spell counters, and the endymion pendulum would also get 5 spell counters?

Citadel would get 5 spell counters and the endymion pendulum would also have 5 spell counters as the monster effect says "equal to" which isn't the same as place the counters onto the card.
