So. I have a CXyz Barian Hope on my side of the field and a Number 106: Giant Hand in my GY.
During my turn, I use Barian Hope's effect targeting Giant Hand. At some point during my opponent's turn I activate it's effect to negate a monster. Will the monster still be negated and unable to change it's battle position even after Barian Hope lost the effects of Giant Hand?

Will try reviewing custom cards if they look interesting.

I think, yes, the targeted monster still cannot change its battle position, and its effects are still negated. My train of thoughts are:
1) An activated lingering effect that later said "while this card is face-up on the field", will still apply, similar with Kashtira Shangri-Ira, and Excode Talker. The card that had activated the effect is still "face-up on the field" (regardless if its name got change, effect negated, effect got replaced, etc), was not moved elsewhere outside the Monster Zone, and had not been Set face-down once.
2) The only difference with this card lingering "negate" from others, is the "while this card is face-up". If we ignored that, then the lingering negate is just normal, and will remain as long as the target remain face-up in the Monster Zone.
