I had Gagagigo on the field which was buffed with legendary ocean. My opponent activated metamorph to summon thousand eyes restrict. He equipped my monster to thousand eyes and attacked. He claimed that the buff of the field spell applied to thousand eyes because it did not specify "original attack" on his monster's effect description. I did not think so, especially since Thousand Eyes is a dark monster.
