Hypothetic scenario.
I have a Krawler Spine set on my side of the field and my opponent controls a Cyber Dragon Infinity.
My opponent attacks and flips Spine on my field.
Spine activates, targeting Infinity.
My opponent activates Infinity in response and negates Spine.
Is Krawler Spine destroyed by Infinity's effect or is the destruction still treated as a battle destruction?

If a monster is destroyed by card effect during the dmg step, then it is considered destroyed by card effect.
Infinity both negates the effect activation and destroys the card, so the krawler was destroyed by a card effect.
