If Book of Moon gets chained to my Byser Shock's ability, does the Byser Shock get bounced back from it's own effect? Or would it simply stay set and bounce all other set cards on the field? I played against someone who claimed the former, but I couldn't think of a similar scenario where that can ever happen. The person I played against was very adamant Byser gets bounced back, and wished me a terminal illness when I contested, so it seems like a very controversial ruling.

Chains resolve in reverse, since Book is CL2, Byser Shock gets flipped face-down, then the effect of Byser resolves and bounces all Set (face-down) cards, including itself now that it has been Set by Book.
