GG Virus eff says Tribute 1 DARK monster with 3000 or less ATK; your opponent destroys 1 card (of their choice) in their hand or Deck for every 500 ATK that monster had on the field. If you Tributed a monster with 2000 or more ATK to activate this card, look at all cards your opponent draws until the end of their 3rd turn after this card's activation, and destroy all monsters among them. Cards destroyed and sent to the GY by this card's effect cannot activate their effects that same turn.

Question: If The monster tributed is 3000 atk, meaning they'd destroy the max of 6 cards in the deck. are those 6 cards effects prevented from activating their effects or does that part of GGV's eff only apply to cards drawn( also Im assuming it apples to cards drawn from drawing eff's like pot of greed,jar of greed,upstart goblin ect, also asuming search cards do not count since added to hand is differen't from drawing EXample: pot of duality).

Question: if GGV does prevent activation on those 6 cards, if my opponent was playing lets say blue eyes and 1 of the 6 cards he destroyed was return of the dragon lords would he be able to banish it that same turn to prevent one of his dragons from destruction?

Question: Again this is assuming that the cards destroyed have their eff activation prevented. what if the monster tributed for cost was 1500 atk?
Does GGV's eff to prevent the 3 cards destroyed from activating apply or does that part only appy when the tribute is over 2000 atk?

1. Its last sentence clarifies this: "Cards destroyed and sent to the GY by this card's effects cannot activate their own effects that same turn." And, yes, it applies only when drawing cards, not searching in general.

2. Yes, they can use Return of the Dragon Lords's effect. That effect doesn't have an activation, so they wouldn't be activating anything when they banish it.

3. Just follow the card's text. The "If you Tributed a monster with 2000 or more ATK to activate this card" clause is applicable only for the sentence in which it appears. The last sentence doesn't contain this clause.

My main confusion is with Question 1. I wasn't sure if the eff prevention was only applying to the cards destroyed for the next 3 turns at draw phase or if it included the 6 destroyed in the example aswell..
