If you have counters on cards and remove them with speed, for example with paying a cost. Sometimes there will be "phantom counters" these are counters that have not been removed by the DB server but has to the player that has removed them.
This causes a multitude of issues. Please Fix, Sincerely mad pend player

I'm experiencing that too. Quickly placing or removing them often leads to wrong counts being shown.
