Duel Records List: HTML5 vs. Adobe Flash

Post #1 by Platinumeye » Thu Apr 09, 2020 11:17 pm

Normally before battling a username that I find vaguely familiar, I would check Duel Records first and then I'd look back at those replays. Now from what I hear (but I could be wrong), Flash will stop from being supported completely at the start of 2021, however, is there ever a chance this glitch (where one replay is blocking me from seeing another on the list shown in HTML5) will ever get fixed once Adobe Flash does eventually separate from Dueling Book?

Is there any way to disable HTML5 and stick with Adobe Flash?

You'd probably have to allow your computer to run Adobe Flash (if possible). Otherwise, what's the problem with HTML5 (cause it seems I get drawn AWFUL hands with Adobe Flash)?

Adobe Flash doesn't make you draw bad or good hands differently than HTML5...

How can a different software (Sorry of I am wrong on the terminology) give you what you want? What I think it happens is that you just have good luck

Both the flash and html5 both produce the same results with a slightly different interface. The core of the programming is Javascript which is used in both html5 and flash. Flash is just software platform that is now unsafe to use. The actual algorithm is in Java, which again is the core of both versions.

THANK YOU!! I've tested Adobe Flash and HTML5, and more sketchy hands come from Adobe Flash... one time when I played The Transmigration Prophecy on my opponent's cards, my opponent shuffled their deck, and afterward when they played a "draw 2" card effect, they drew those same two cards... it's sketchy

The algorithm is the same, as they both use Javascript for the duels.

flash has some...interesting bugs. you wont actually get a different hand but you can end up with images of different cards from your deck that arent actually in your hand.
