Opponent left the game in rated and i got the loss

i played a rated game on db and mid combo my opponent leaves the game with the pop up and the victory sound. After i leave the duel too the game history says i lost and when i watch the replay (https://www.duelingbook.com/replay?id=937078-40413819) it says i left earlier than him. Does this happen from time to time or did i go full schizophrenic?
