The deck shuffler seems to avoid the same card being next to each other in the deck order.
This can be easily replicated by creating a 6 card deck with 3 copies of 2 cards and hosting a custom duel and resetting the deck order. Doing this I shuffled the deck 80 times and monitored whether the deck came out with cards next to each other or went alternately.
The cards went alternately (ABABAB or BABABA) 60/80 trials (75%), however, the odds of either ABABAB or BABABA coming up in a single trial should only be 10% ((6/6 )*(3/5 )* (2/4) *(2/3) * (1/2) * (1/1))

I wonder if this issue still exists, or if it matters for a 40 card deck.
