Ban Appeal error

I randomly opened Dueling Book for the first time in a week and the opening screen said that I had been banned. Confused, I sent in a ban appeal. However, I received an error message a day later saying that the post was invalid and that I needed to send an appeal again. I then resent the ban appeal and today have received the same error message. I was wondering if this happens normally or if I am doing something wrong. I clicked both boxes to make sure that I received notifications and that hyperlinks were not shortened in case anyone was wondering.
