Lost connection message

Every time I click duel it says lost connection. My account is new so I haven’t gotten to even make a deck. what should I do

Yea this is litterally what is happening to me too. Do you know if it is down for maintanence? I tried DB on html5 and regular, along with internet explorer (I normally use Avast!'s version of chrome [AvastBrowser]) All versions let me log in, but when i click the duel button, it tells me "Lost Connection". I dont think im banned, because otherwise i wouldn't be able to log into here, right? .... right??
I live in USA if that matters; I have flash turned on
I dont know what other info i can give that identify a cause for a problem.

Its was a problem on DB. Now that it has been cleared out that HTML5 version is glitching, but you can use Flash in case of this ever happen again

Is it known how many people it affected? Or was it just straight up sitewide?

Also, flash is being phased out. Soon it wont be supported so idk if it will still be valid by next year, for example.

currently having this appear using flash version html never worked for me
