Let me say that this is a simplistic speech.
some players simply DON'T respond.
Based on those, the playstyle could be changed. The risk is to go over to the wrong side for slow play.
So, since you are not able to understand whether the opponent 'who does not interact' is thinking or lagging or simply 'waiting'...
I think a button that questions it is a good choice.

I understand that it could be written in chat, but by now we have become accustomed to clicking on an icon even in place of 2 letters to write O-K
